It's already coming to 1 week after getting a sore throat. Sigh... fever still on & off... though having seen a doc on monday. Was on MC for 2 days & managed to get back to work yesterday but still feeling jelly-like...
Fever came back this morning, leaving me no choice but to work from home. Thank God, i still managed to do some work if not things will sure pile up in no time...
Although down w a very bad sorethroat, i still managed to pull myself to e concert yesterday since hubby has been looking forward to it. Glad that he did enjoy e entire concert... :) Din really managed to enjoy myself very much since i was coughing my lung out throughout e entire concert due to e bad throat. e concert ends @ 10.45pm (e very 1st concert that ends so early)... took a bus home since it was still early.... but during e bus trip, i suddenly feel cold & by e time i reach home, i am already running a temperature =.=
No choice today gotta stay home to rest since i am still feeling so jelly like.... :(
Today is Angel's last day in e co... so sad manz cos 1 more lesser to talk rubbish / complain to....her group of kakis took turns to give her a treat b4 she left. Was planning to treat her to some restaurant in Tampines. Things din go e way we wanted, @ 11.30am my boss actually give my a set of roadmaps & key transactions for 4Q for compilation.... sianz man.... & e best part is she will alwaz use this phrase "its urgent". e most irritating thing that pissed me off is that she actually went for lunch after giving me e file she is suppose to do... e rest of my team din even have time to go for lunch since they need to prepare for 1pm meeting...Praise God... i din have to attend manz if not i think i sure down w gastric again....
I finally managed to finish e file @ 1.30pm.... super hungry already.... in e end, i choose to go somewhere nearer to have our lunch. Went to Lerk Thai @ Expo since it within walking distance. Ordered a few dishes & had a really quick lunch. Got back office about 2.30pm...
Guess wat, my sametime (office MSN program) was full w messages from my boss asking me where did i kip e file that i have completed....(tot she already advise me to kip in e server & she will get from there?)... goodness can't i have some peace for my lunch???
Life was peaceful till e end of e day... phew.... managed to leave office @ 5.45pm... hee...
In e late evening, my throat suddenly feel like sand paper.... oh no... down w a sore throat, hopefully it gets better tomolo morning.... :)
Lord Jesus, I come 2 u today full of thanksgiving. Thank u Lord 4 showering me w all e care & love everyday though there have been times tat I have forgotten about u but u never did blame or forsake me. Thank u tat Gav called to say “I Love U” even with his tight schedule @ work. Thank u 4 filling me up w ur peace & 4 filling my spirit with praise today. Thank u that I have no idea wat could happen next in my life & tat u r keeping me dependant on U totally. Thank u 4 providing me w a job though I kept complaining about my boss attitude & work load. Thank u for giving me a group of good friends whom I am able 2 share my joy with. Thank u 4 friends who told me my desired job don’t drop down from sky - & it was indeed a good one & Thank u tat I told her that You do indeed provide for all of my needs. Lord you told me when all of this stuff happened I would not have 2worry. U told me U would take care of all my needs if I relied solely on U. I am keeping my faith Lord. I love U & I thank u 4 every blessing you have & will bestow on me & Lord I thank u 4 my hubby still loving me 4 wat I m, I thank u 4 I noe eventhough e enemy is making it seem like He is never coming home, Lord I know He is, & thank u 4 giving me e strength & telling me how I will use this situation 2 stand strong 4 my faith in U. In all things Lord I praise you, You brought me back 2 u & that was e best thing. Amen!!
Its e start of a brand new week again... not really in e mood to go to work after so many days of rest but no choice... need to prepare e charts for todae's meeting... talking bout meeting... its basically e most miserable time @ work... having to hang on to e fone for hours... yawnz...
Get back to reality.... better pray that i can go on another long leave very soon... hehe....
After waiting for so long, i finally got my stupid leave approved. Its been my 2nd trip to KL within a year... went around different areas to try out their local food throughout e entire trip.... yum yum...
On e very 1st day, we took a cab to Starhill Shopping Center, there were lotsa branded boutiques in that area... went to check out e LV boutique & discover that e stuff are more expensive than Sgp... walked into Bang & Olufsen to try out e system there using James Taylor's CD, e sound was sharp but there was no bass (quite disappointing)... e cheapest equipment there is e earpiece costing RM600...
Then we walked to Sungei Wang, we walked pass Planet Hollywood on e way... as usual... i popped in to get myself a t-shirt... haha... took us about 15 mins to reached Sungei Wang, had a late lunch @ Esquire... afterwhich we walked around @ our own leisure... took a train to Berjaya Time Square @ 7.30pm & i managed to buy a pair of heels...headed back to hotel @ 9.30pm....
Woke up @ 9am on e 2nd day. Went to Petaling St (Chinatown) for breakfast... flowers there were xtremely cheap & most of all fresh in e market.... 1 dozen of rose is about RM35 to RM50 (where in Sgp can u find such a pricing???) Saw a cute mooncake (A Mummy Piggy w 10 piglets surrounding her) @ 1 of e confectionery shop, was pondering whether to buy it or not... haha... in e end just bought a pack of Shek Keh Ma (Special request by Ms Leong) & left e shop...
Found my favourite "Pork Leg in Vinegar Wine" (haha xtremely sinful) @ a coffeeshop @ Petaling St on e 3rd day... finally bought e piggy mooncake that I saw yesterday...took e LRT from Pasar Seni to Kelana Jaya & catch e free shuttle bus to 1 Utama... Meet up w Jane to collect e ikan bilis (simply irresistible) that I've ordered from her mum. Went back to hotel & have a rest... went Sungei Wang again in e evening to do my final shopping spree... had dinner @ a coffeeshop in front of e hotel that I stayed in... arranged to meet up w Sean @ 10pm but by e time he replied, i already had my programs... sigh
Reached Sgp this afternoon... & headed home to take a shower... afterwhich took a cab to Suntec to meet hubby for dinner. Meet up w Chantel & gang @ Cosy Bay for tea session. Make our way to Indoor Stadium @ 8pm sharp to watch e musical “Snow Wolf Lake”. Its really worth watching & its superly touching... sobz... 
The time shown on my office phone is nw 12:47pm.... lunch time but decided to be on diet... e rest of e team had already gone out for lunch... left me & my little KFC radio in e office... kekeke....
Been busy e entire morning reconciling the accounts... sigh... 1st thing in e morning already got hiccups for e accounts... system has been loaded wrongly therefore watever i pull is wrong.... arghhh.... waste my time.
The other thing that happen is that some idiots from India does not know how to read instructions.... send out emails before June end advising a change of industry codes & affiliated codes yet e silly guy can actually omitted all the industry codes??? Nw big problem cos sales reps are not going to paid correctly this month.... fed up... really pig's brain manz.... was like on e fone complaining to one of my lunch kakis... hahaha even she think that those ppl are "good for nothings"...
So tired think i gonna fall asleep soon w e air con & quietness here... haaa.... zzzzz.....
Been superly free since e moment i get into office manz though i should be superly busy since its e time of e month again (Mth End Closing.... wakaka).... reason being.... e entire database was down therefore i can't pull e revenue for doing up my report.... :P Its only 10.39am now, donno still muz wait how long before i can do my report man.... hopefully no OT for me tonite...
Planning to go to Motherhood & IT fair during lunch time.... hehe... need to do some walking if not every hour sit on e chair also boring & sure to gain weight since i stock up so much titbits in my office cupboard... already give out so many to my colleagues but still unable to clear e entire cupboard.... mayb its b'cos i keep stocking them up when i go lunch... :P
Wait & wait... still cannot pull e information that i need.... just sit around surf net & listening to music... hehehe.... pray that i will not fall asleep since its so boring.... :P
Was in church e entire day serving.... feel so energic throughout e 2 services though we are short of stewards. Basically it a OMS for most of e aisle. Service ended @ around 6.30pm... had a little debrief & snacks @ e foyer with my team & we were dismissed. Waited for hubby to finish packing up his sound board & we headed to Old Airport Road to have our dinner.... Gosh.... so crowded e place was.... but Praise e Lord! We managed to find a table in less than 3 mins.... afterwhich we headed towards SIS for Eric's Moo's concert.
e concert was really powerful.... e sound system was fine though there's a few "hic ups" in between... e song he sang e entire night really brought back lotsa memories... esp frenz in sec skool.... e good & bad time that we share during those times :) Concert ended @ about 11.45pm.
Ooooo hoo..... got my latest gadget to keep me occupied other than working.... hehe.... so wats on my list next..... anyone wanna bless me wif e latest Playstation 3??? Slurp.....
